The coolest thing was that inside the uppermost radome, it was an echo chamber. You could whisper and hear yourself loudly echoing across the room. Katsy, Susanne, and I exchanged evil laughs and sang a bit up there by ourselves, our voices bouncing across the chamber. I sang The Smiths “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now” – but I wasn’t. I was quite happy up there. I guess they throw concerts up there now and again. I can’t imagine what that must sound like.
